Volunteer at Compassion for Cats – Make a Difference for Rescue Cats!
Do you have a heart for helping animals in need? Compassion for Cats, a non-profit cat sanctuary, is looking for passionate volunteers to join our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned felines.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our resident cats. Your support will allow us to continue providing a safe, loving environment for these deserving animals until we can find them their forever homes.
Ways You Can Help:
- Cleaning & Care: Help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our cat pens and play areas. This includes tasks like scooping litter, washing bedding, and grooming the cats.
- Transport: Assist in driving rescued cats to and from veterinary appointments, as well as helping with the pickup and drop-off of cats being fostered or adopted.
- Rescue & Rehoming: Join our team in the field to help rescue stray and abandoned cats. You may also help facilitate meet-and-greets between potential adopters and our feline friends.
- Visitor Engagement: Share your knowledge and passion for our rescue cats by giving tours and answering questions from members of the public visiting our sanctuary.
- Misc. Support: Lend a hand with any other tasks that help keep our cat sanctuary running smoothly and efficiently.
